Buenos días! Have you ever been to Barcelona? This was my very first visit. Our brand was invited to show our collection at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week - a gateway to more buyers and brides getting to know and love IDS, but the pressure, the anticipation...

Who could not love travelling to Barcelona? It is truly an amazing city and being a tourist with fresh eyes, experiencing a place, its people and food for the very first time, was a joy.

We arrived - landing just days after showing the collection in New York. Airport, to hotel, to the stunning n which would be our home for the next 48 hours. The venue was selected in collaboration with the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week team and it was the most dreamy and perfect backdrop for the Ines Di Santo debut.

Here amongst the Pavilion's stark beauty, the stunning stones and water mirrors where the sun reflects, our new Spring collection “Symphony No. 54 in Full Bloom”, exploded awash with vibrant hand-painted floral details, dimensional beading, and fabric manipulation techniques. It was such a magical setting! Sixteen of the most statuesque models breathed life into our vision as well. What a way to bring our work to a new part of the world.

It's with a huge sense of pride that we reaffirmed the company's position in the global bridal space and community. Being at BBFW has helped increase Ines Di Santo's footprint in the European and wider global market and the brand will now be found in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, United Kingdom, Ireland and Greece. Déu n’hi do! (Wow!)

And yes, I did get to savour the most amazing patatas bravas.
