Winter Weddings

Roaring fires, snow-blanketed landscapes, sleigh bells... I could go on and on. I just adore winter! There is, after all, a reason the phrase “winter wonderland” exists. Wouldn't you love to plan a winter wedding? Like a snow globe, it could be simply magical!

I mean, there's always a chalet in St. Moritz, or  Trois Vallees Courcheval for you, but I think when planning a wedding it's time to explore the unexpected.

Maybe you and your loved ones jet off to Finland for a fairy tale fantasy that include nuptials under the Northern Lights. Opening any second, is the Hotel Maria, the newest ultra-luxe offering in the Finnish capital. Its 38 suites are just waiting for you and yours.
Maybe play queen for the day - and night at Airelles Château de Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle, a luxury hotel located within the Château de Versailles. Channel your own Marie A. and Versailles in the snow is quite stupendous, n'est-ce pas?

I'll let you in on a little secret... One of the most anticipated new luxury hotels opening this September '24 just happens to be in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Corinthia Grand Hôtel du Boulevard, originally built in 1867, has the dreamiest ballroom. Be among the first to host a wedding and just imagine your snowy photos along the  Chain Bridge spanning the Danube.
Closer to home? Aspen never fails to enchant. The Little Nell is a slopeside stunner and the crème de la crème of Colorado chic. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Embrace the weather dear bride and your newly betrothed too. After all, hugging raises the body temperature.
